Women have continued the struggle for recognition in modern and contemporary art spheres, to such an extent that feminist collective Guerilla Girls asked in 1989, “Do women have to be naked to get into the Metropolitan Museum?”

I wanted to create a form that takes up the space that was never really given to female artist. Screaming “we exist” on behalf of all those who’ve been struggling in the shadows for way too long, and design a form that’s hard to miss.
